The Eau Salée (in the upper reaches: Ruisseau de Varages ) is a river in southeastern France that runs in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises in the municipal area of Varages , initially drains in a north-westerly direction, then turns to the south-east and after a total of 23 kilometers flows into the Argens as a left tributary in the municipality of Châteauvert .
