Eberhard Krug

Eberhard Krug (born April 16, 1927 in Breslau ) is a German actor who is best known for numerous radio play productions.

Life

After graduating from high school, Krug attended the drama academy "Der Kreis" with Fritz Kirchhoff in Berlin from 1948 to 1950 . He received his first engagement in 1950 at the “Podium” in Berlin. Stage stations at the Landestheater Greifswald and at the National Theater Weimar followed .

In contrast, Krug was rarely seen in film and television productions. He played one of the leading roles in the DEFA film Mazurka of Love , the Oberon in a television production of William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night 's Dream and in Eugen York's thriller Six Hours of Fear .

Krug became known to a wide audience primarily as a radio play speaker. In the 1970s he participated in many productions by the author, director and producer Kurt Vethake . Eberhard Krug has a daughter and a son. His son Manuel Eberhard Krug is a photographer in Berlin.
