Eberhard Stüber

Eberhard Stüber (born September 15, 1927 in Schwaighof ) is an Austrian biologist .

Life

Eberhard Stüber studied natural history and geography in Innsbruck and began working at the Haus der Natur in Salzburg as early as 1946 . In 1952 Stüber founded the Austrian Youth for Nature Conservation (ÖNJ). Stüber taught at the teacher training institute in Salzburg . From 1969 to 1979 Stüber was a lecturer in zoology at the University of Salzburg, since 1972 President of the Austrian Nature Conservation Union , since 1974 head of the Institute for Ecology he founded, since 1976 director of the House of Nature and since 1987 state environmental lawyer. Stüber directed the Salzburg teacher's house for decades , he founded the teacher's house chapel. Stüber was significantly involved in the creation of the Hohe Tauern National Park .
