Konrad Lorenz Prize
The Konrad Lorenz Prize belonged to the group of state prizes of the Republic of Austria and was awarded from 1981 to 2005 by the Environment Minister of the Republic of Austria for the commitment to the irretrievable in nature and in the environment . The award named after Konrad Lorenz was last endowed with 21,802 euros. It has not been awarded since 2006.
The Konrad Lorenz State Prize for Nature Conservation and Environmental Protection did not focus on technical environmental protection. The requirement profile comprised the characteristics level in terms of factual matters, publicity and courage.
