Eberhard Stauß (* 1940 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ; † 1998 ) was a German architect and designer .

Eberhard Stauß studied architecture from 1960 to 1966 at the Technical University of Stuttgart and the Technical University of Munich . In 1967 he was Paolo Nestler's assistant in the class for interior design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich . Until 1970 he also worked in Nestler's studio. 1970 to 1972 he worked for Otl Aicher in the visual communication department of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. In 1972 he founded an office community with Heinz Birg . From 1973 to 1974 he had a teaching position for exterior design and furnishing at the Academy of Fine Arts, and in 1983 he was appointed professor for interior design there. In 1983 he founded his design office, which he ran in partnership with Ursula Wangler from 1996 on .
