Eberswalder organ building workshop

The Eberswalder Orgelbauwerkstatt is an organ building company in Eberswalde in Brandenburg .

history

Ulrich Fahlberg (born August 28, 1939) studied with Gerhard Kühn from 1953 to 1956 and was then a journeyman with him, then worked with Reinhard Adam, Schuke Orgelbau and Hermann Lahmann. On April 1, 1965 he took over the company A. Kienscherf Nachf., Owner Karl Gerbig , which has existed in Eberswalde since 1851.

In 2005 Harry Sander and Andreas Mähnert took over the Eberswalder organ building workshop and have been running it ever since.

Organs (selection)

Ulrich Fahlberg built some mostly small organs until 2003. His main activity was the restoration and maintenance of many historical organs, especially in the northern Brandenburg area. His successors continue this tradition.
