The scientifically based development of cognitive change techniques that are used in psychotherapeutic settings as well as in coaching and mental training.

Cooperation with top athletes

Winderl works for top athletes. His collaboration with boxers Dariusz Michalczewski , Oktay Urkal and Markus Beyer became public .

Due to the newly developed procedure, Winderl helped Dariusz Michalczewski to win the world championship fight against Virgil Hill, who became the first German boxing champion to become world champion in three world associations IBF, WBA and WBO.

He also mentally prepared Oktay Urkal for his world championship fight against Kostya Tszyu. Oktay Urkal showed himself to be an excellent boxer in the fight and was mentally extremely stable despite a broken jaw. This spectacular fight went close to Kostya Tszyu on points.

Winderl also successfully trained Markus Beyer mentally for his world championship fight against Cristian Sanavia . With the victory in this world championship fight it was the first time a German boxer succeeded in becoming world champion for the third time in his weight class. In the subsequent fights, Markus Beyer was able to maintain his position as world champion with Winderl's support.

What was special about this collaboration was that world and European champions now also publicly stated that they had got the support of a mental trainer. In many other sports it is still not customary to make this public in order to be able to keep a performance advantage a secret
