Eckart early
Eckart Erich Früh (born February 3, 1942 in Barnewitz im Havelland , † March 25, 2014 in Vienna ) was a German-born Austrian literary historian and archivist .
For many years, Früh looked after the famous Tagblatt archive in the Vienna Chamber of Labor and later in the Vienna City and State Library . In addition, Früh wrote numerous publications on literary and contemporary history, especially on Austrian literature of the 20th century. Früh is considered to be one of the best experts on Karl Kraus ' writings , but he also edited an anthology on Michael Guttenbrunner together with Klaus Amann . With Ursula Seeber and Deborah Vietor-Engländer he also has two volumes of the writings of Hermynia Zur Mühlen, Vierzehn Nothelfer and other novels from exile, Nebenglück. Selected stories and feuilletons, 2 volumes edited (Peter Lang Verlag Bern series Exil-Documents, Vol. 5 and Vol. 6, 2002).
The burial took place early in the cemetery of the Simmering fire hall (Department 5, Group 9, number 201).
