Edward Graham "Eddie" McCreadie (born April 15, 1940 in Glasgow ) is a former Scottish football player and football coach.

Career

Player career

McCreadie began his playing career at Drumchapel and Clydebank Juniors before joining East Stirling in 1959 . In 1962 , the Scot signed a contract with Chelsea . McCreadie was with Chelsea in 1965 English League Cup winner, where he scored the decisive goal to the cup triumph. Another trophy was added in 1970 . The Scot won the English Cup with the Blues. The following year, Chelsea won the European Cup Winners' Cup with McCreadie. Internationally, he played 23 times for the Scottish national football team .

Coaching career

After his career as a player in 1973 he was coached by his club as a player in Chelsea in 1975 . After his release in 1977 , the Scot went to America to train the two clubs Memphis Rogues and the Cleveland Forces.
