Edgar Kalthoff
Edgar Kalthoff (born June 24, 1930 ; † December 29, 2002 ) was a German historian , author and editor .
Life
Kalthoff, born in 1930, studied in the post-war period in Göttingen at the university there , where he did his dissertation at the Philosophical Faculty on October 20, 1955 on the subject of The English Kings of the House of Hanover in the judgment of British historiography .
On behalf of the Historical Commission for Lower Saxony and Bremen , he was the editor of Volume 6 of the monograph Lower Saxony Life Pictures with biographies of Lower Saxony personalities.
The funeral service for the deceased at the end of 2002 took place in the chapel of the Naethe funeral home in Langenhagen .
