Edinah Jebitok (born November 10, 2001 ) is a Kenyan middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500 meter run .

Athletic career

Edinah Jebitok gained her first international experience at the 2017 World Youth Championships in Nairobi , where she won the bronze medal in 4: 23.16 minutes. The following year she was fifth at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 4: 15.17 min and won the silver medal at the African Youth Games in Algiers in 4: 37.98 min. Then she won at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in the combination of 1,500-meter run and cross-country run. In 2019 she won the silver medal behind the Ethiopian Diribe Welteji at the Junior African Championships in Abidjan in 4: 13.02 minutes .
