Edith Konrath

Edith Konrath (* 1971 in Munich ) is a German actress .

Life

Edith Konrath first studied drama at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding for a year before she graduated from the Munich Theater from 1995 to 1998 . She played her first roles at the Munich Academy Theater . From 1999 to 2001 Konrath was engaged at the Landesbühne Hannover , from 2002 to 2007 she had a multi-year engagement at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern . In the following years she gave guest performances at the Schlosstheater Celle , the Theater Regensburg and the Theater Augsburg , and since 2012 Konrath has been playing at the Metropoltheater in Munich.

Konrath was in the title roles of Frank Wedekind's Lulu and William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to see was the Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams or Nina in Anton Chekhov's Seagull .

Occasionally Konrath also works in front of the camera. She played guest roles in the series Dahoam is Dahoam , and in 2015 she played the role of Marianne Strauss in the docu-drama Der Primus - Franz-Josef Strauss .

Edith Konrath lives in Munich.
