The Edith River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

geography

River course

The river has its source in the southwest corner of the Nitmiluk National Park and initially runs south to Edith Falls , still within the national park. Then it turns its course west and crosses under the Stuart Highway in the small town of Edith River . 15 km further, at the Marilliyum settlement , it flows into the Fergusson River .
