The Fergusson River is a river in the north of the Australian territory Northern Territory .

geography

River course

The river has its source in the northwest of Nitmiluk National Park on the southern slopes of Coronet Hill . It flows southwest and crosses under the Stuart Highway south of the Fergusson River settlement . It flows into the Daly River between Florina and Claravale in the Wagiman Aboriginal Reserve .
