Erich Buschle

Erich Buschle (born July 16, 1901 in Karlsruhe , † May 7, 1991 in Saarbrücken ) was a German painter, goldsmith and glass artist.

biography

Buschle studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe from 1921 under Professors Hermann Göhler (1874–1959), August Groh (1871–1944), Friedrich Fehr (1862–1927) and Georg Schreyögg (1870–1934). In 1924 he moved to the University of Fine Arts in Dresden and was a student of Robert Hermann Sterl (1867–1932). In the meantime he worked alongside Albert Bohn, Heinrich von Rüden, Fritz Grewenig, Loy Walter and others in 1922. a. Founding member of the Association of Visual Artists on the Saar, later known as the Saarland Artists Association . Between 1925 and 1956 he was at numerous exhibitions in Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern, Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf a. a. involved. In the early 1950s he created the glass windows for the Protestant churches in Saarbrücken-Brebach, St. Ingbert-Rohrbach, St. Ingbert-Hassel and Herschweiler-Pettersheim. Further glass window works for churches in Heilbronn and Stetten / Württemberg are missing. From 1964 he was in front of the Saarland Secession of the Professional Association of Visual Artists.
