Edith Solbach
Edith Solbach (born September 12, 1952 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Solbach belonged to TuS Wörrstadt as a midfielder , with whom she played the first final of the German championship on September 8, 1974 in the Bruchweg Stadium in Mainz . The match with DJK Eintracht Erle , led by Bonn referee Walter Eschweiler , was won 4-0. At the premiere of the DFB Cup competition, she and her team reached the final in the eighth, quarter and semi-finals on May 2, 1981, but lost 5-0 to SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach at the Neckarstadion in Stuttgart .
