Edmund Czaplicki

Edmund Czaplicki (born October 30, 1904 in Warsaw , † 1940 ibid) was a Polish ice hockey goalkeeper and rower .

Career

Edmund Czaplicki played as goalkeeper for AZS Warsaw and won the Polish championship title four times in a row with the team between 1926 and 1930 . Parallel to the ice hockey he played in winter, he was successful as a rower in the summer months and took part in the European rowing championships . In 1927 he became the Polish Rowing Champion. During the German occupation in Poland he was killed in unknown circumstances in August 1940 in his hometown Warsaw.

International

For the Polish national ice hockey team , Czaplicki took part in the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . He previously represented his country at the European Championships in 1926 and 1927 . He played a total of 15 international matches for Poland from 1926 to 1928.
