Edmund Holtschke (born May 28, 1855 in Oberrißdorf , † after 1918) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Holtschke attended elementary school and received private lessons in Oberrißdorf. Between 1867 and 1876 he was at the Latin secondary school of the Frankesche Stiftungen in Halle and then he studied law until 1879 at the universities of Tübingen , Leipzig , Halle and Berlin . From 1879 to 1884 he was a trainee lawyer in Spandau and Berlin , from 1884 to 1889 a court assessor in Berlin and from October 1, 1889 from the district judge at the district court in Soldin .

From 1898 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1909 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Frankfurt 2 ( Landsberg (Warthe) , Soldin ) and the German Conservative Party .
