Edmund Sendlewski

Edmund Sendlewski (born December 10, 1911 in Berlin ; † September 20, 1978 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Edmund Sendlewski attended the Humboldt-Oberrealschule in Berlin-Tegel and completed it with the upper secondary school leaving certificate . He became a member of the Bund New Germany , the Windthorst Association and the German Kolping Family . From 1927 he made a craft training to become a trade school teacher. From 1932 he studied at the German University of Politics . In 1939 Sendlewski was drafted into the Wehrmacht and was finally taken prisoner by the Americans .

After the Second World War , Sendlewski became operations manager in 1946 and joined the CDU. In the Berlin election in 1950 he was elected to the district council in the Reinickendorf district. In the 1958 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he was a member until 1967.
