Eduard Rüppell Medal

The Eduard Rüppell Medal was awarded by the Association for Geography and Statistics in Frankfurt am Main , today's Frankfurt Geographical Society . The medal donated on the occasion of Eduard Rüppell's 100th birthday was awarded 14 times in gold between 1894 and 1936, 16 times in silver between 1904 and 1975 and twice again in 1987.
