Eduard Güder
Friedrich Gustav Eduard Güder (born June 1, 1817 in Walperswil , † June 14, 1882 in Kirchenthurnen , Canton of Bern ) was a Reformed Swiss theologian.
After studying theology in Bern and Berlin , he became vicar in Biel in 1842 and pastor at the Nydeggkirche in Bern in 1855 . In addition, he was involved in ecclesiastical politics in the Reformed Church of the Canton of Bern and from 1862 taught first as a private lecturer and later as an honorary professor of the New Testament and Dogmatics at the University of Bern . He worked at the Real Encyclopedia for Protestant Theology and Church and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Königsberg in 1862 .
