structure
The highest body of the Synodal Union is the Synod, which usually meets twice a year for two days each time. The synod is responsible for the “internal affairs” of the church, approves the budget and elects the executive, the synodal council. Due to the state church structure in the canton of Bern, "external affairs" are handled by the church administration.
