Confession

The Thurgau Confession , which was formulated in 1874, emerged from the apostolic dispute in the 19th century :

“We believe in God, the almighty Father and Creator, who has called us to his sonship and eternal life; in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in whom we have redemption from our sins and reconciliation with God; and to the Holy Spirit, who renews us in the image of God to true righteousness and holiness. "

This confession is not binding and is not tied to the ordination , but belongs to the specific legacy of the regional church.
