Eduard Heilfron

Eduard Heilfron (born July 30, 1860 in Thorn , Prussia , † May 19, 1938 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer .

Life

After attending grammar school in Thorn, he studied law at the University of Heidelberg , in Leipzig , where he received his doctorate in 1883 , and in Berlin. From 1894 he worked as a magistrate in Nauen and in Berlin-Mitte. In 1904 he was appointed professor at the Royal Academy in Poznan and in 1906 honorary professor at the commercial college in Berlin. In 1919 he was appointed professor at the Berlin Administrative Academy . He was also given the title of “ Secret Judicial Council ”. He has written numerous books on various areas of law, worked as the legal editor of the Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung and as co-editor of the Leipzig magazine for German law (1914–1933). Since 1892 he was married to Valerie Fuchs.

He found his final resting place in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf .
