Eduard Springer

Eduard Alfons Ludwig Springer (born October 5, 1872 in Biberach an der Riss ; † June 11, 1956 in Göppingen ) was a German civil servant . He was an Oberamtmann in the Oberamt Heidenheim .

Life

Born as the son of an Oberamtssparkassenkassierer, Springer studied regiminal sciences in Tübingen and Berlin after attending the secondary school in Ulm . During his studies in 1891 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . In 1895 he was a trainee lawyer at the Oberamt Biberach and the district government in Ulm. In Tübingen he was awarded a Dr. rer. pole. PhD . In 1897 he was a one-year volunteer in the 124th Infantry Regiment, where he became a lieutenant in the reserve . After numerous positions in the administration, he was from 1911 to 1920 Chief Executive of the Heidenheim Office . He then became a government councilor in the Württemberg Ministry of Food and the Ministry of the Interior, where he was head of the police department. In 1921 he moved to the Ministry of Labor and Food as Ministerialrat and in 1926 to the Ministry of Economics. He was also a lecturer in public law at the Hohenheim Agricultural University . From 1930 he worked in the Ministry of Economic Affairs as President of the Central Office for Agriculture. In 1937 he retired.

His son was Erich Springer , district administrator of the Tettnang district .
