Eduard von Schenck

Eduard von Schenck (born November 4, 1823 in Berlin , † April 13, 1897 in Flechtingen ) was a German majorate and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Eduard von Schenck was born as the eldest son of Eduard von Peucker . He was majorate in Flechtingen , Böddensell , Hilgesdorf and Dönstedt in the Gardelegen district . Since his uncle Karl Jacob Friedrich Schenck von Flechtingen was childless, Eduard was adopted by him and thus became the heir of the Flechtingen moated castle, among others . He had the Flechtingen moated castle redesigned and a park built.

From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Magdeburg 1 (Gardelegen, Salzwedel ) and the German Reich Party . He was also a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony .
