Eduardo Herrera Aguirre (born July 25, 1988 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican football player who is under contract with the Glasgow Rangers , and is loaned out to Club Necaxa .

Career

society

Eduardo Herrera was born in Mexico City in 1988 . He began his professional career in 2007 with Pumas Morelos , the UNAM Pumas branch team . For the Mexican second division side, he completed 73 league games by 2011 and scored 19 goals. From 2011 he finally played for the UNAM Pumas from Mexico City. He played for the Pumas for six years, interrupted by two loans to Santos Laguna and CD Veracruz . Together with his compatriot Carlos Alberto Peña , Eduardo Herrera moved to the Glasgow Rangers in Scotland in June 2017 for a transfer fee . In July 2018 Herrera was awarded to Santos Laguna. It was awarded to the club from 2013 to 2014. In January 2019 Herrera was awarded to Club Necaxa .

National team

Eduardo Herrera played nine times for the Mexican national team in 2015 . He made his debut on March 29, 2015 during a friendly against Ecuador at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum when he came on for Chicharito . Two days later, the striker scored the 1-0 winner against Paraguay at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, his first goal for Mexico. In his fourth international match, Eduardo Herrera scored two goals against Guatemala . In the same year he took part in the Copa América in Chile with the national team. There he completed his last two of a total of nine missions for the senior national team in his home country.
