Eduardo Pavlovsky

Eduardo Pavlovsky , called Tato Pavlovsky , (born December 10, 1933 in Buenos Aires , † October 4, 2015 ) was an Argentine dramaturge , actor , writer and psychiatrist .

Life

Eduardo Pavlovsky comes from a Russian immigrant family; the writer Alejandro Pavlovsky and the agricultural engineer Aaron Pavlovsky are his grandfathers.

Pavlovsky studied medicine and psychology at the Universidad de Buenos Aires , among other things, and was able to complete his studies with a doctorate . After that he worked for some time as a psychological supervisor in a hospital in his hometown.

Through his acquaintance with Pedro Asquini and Alejandra Boero he came to the theater and especially the absurd theater found his interest. In addition to medical books and articles, he also began to write for the theater himself. He also accepted role offers and was seen several times as an actor in the cinema or on stage.
