Egbert Harbert
Theodor Egbert Harbert (born November 25, 1882 in Arnsberg , † January 22, 1968 in Braunschweig ) was a German geodesist .

Theodor Egbert Harbert was the son of Mathilde Wilhelmine Harbert (* Walther) and accountant Theodor Friedrich Oskar Harbert (1849–1926). He was married to the teacher Gertrud Elisabeth Harbert (* Gesell) (1893–1993) since 1919, and the marriage resulted in a son and six daughters: Ernst, Ilse, Gertrud, Anna-Dorothea, Rosemarie, Christel Maria and Liselotte Paula.
Career
From 1918 Harbert was a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin . In 1922 he came to the Technical University of Braunschweig as a full professor of geodesy and at the same time took over the management of the institute for surveying. From 1950 to 1953 he was chairman of the German Association for Surveying .
