The Egginer is 3367 m above sea level. M. high summit above Saas-Fee . Together with the Mittaghorn , it forms a ridge at the end of the Saas Valley . The rock of the non-glaciated summit is brittle on the flanks, but on the ridges the rock is good.
The normal ascent leads in 3½ hours from Plattjen , in 2½ hours from the Britanniahütte , over the southeast flank (point II ) to the summit.
