Former rectory (Raisting)
The former rectory in the Raisting community in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau is entered in the Bavarian list of monuments. It is located at Herrenstrasse 13, diagonally across from the parish church of St. Remigius .
history
First mentioned in 1328, it was renovated and largely rebuilt in 1745 by Dean Geiler. After the construction of the new parsonage in 1914/15, it has been used as a local museum since 1990 and by the local folk and costume association.
architecture
The two-storey plastered gable building, measuring 15 × 12 meters, represents the residential part of the former rectory and has a cranked eaves cornice and a simple gable cornice. The cornices and the window frames are in a contrasting color.
