The Ehrhorn community was dissolved with effect from March 1, 1974. Its main area, then with more than 600 inhabitants, was incorporated into the municipality of Schneverdingen. A smaller part with a little more than 100 inhabitants at that time came to the municipality of Behringen. However, this was integrated into the Bispingen community on March 16, 1974 .
