Eibensee is a group in the municipality of Fuschl am See in the northeast of the Austrian state of Salzburg .
The place is located northeast of Fuschl in the valley of the Eibenseebach, which rises from the Eibensee, a mountain lake 2 kilometers to the east. The Wolfgangsee Straße , coming from the city of Salzburg, runs through the town of Eibensee, runs from Fuschl to Eibensee and on to Haslwald, then goes south past the Wolfgangsee and ends in Bad Ischl .
