The Eichsee is a small mineral lake in the Loisach-Kochelsee moors . It drains via the Trift Canal . It is only fed by groundwater.
There is a swimming area at the Eichsee. The lake is one of the smallest swimming lakes in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district .
The Eichsee can be reached on foot from Großweil , distance approx. 1 km.
Other small lakes in the Loisach-Kochelsee moors are Höllsee , Rohrsee , Fichtsee , Rettensee , Haselsee and Karpfsee .
