The Trift Canal is an artificially constructed watercourse in Upper Bavaria .
The Trift Canal crosses the Loisach-Kochelsee Moore . It saved the raftsmen on the Loisach , who used to have to drive through the Kochelsee , a good day's work. It stretches from Großweil approximately in a northeasterly direction and ends today in the Loisach, opposite the mouth of the Lainbach . The Trift Canal still absorbs the water from the Eichsee and Höllsees .
