Eike Bansen (born February 21, 1998 in Arnsberg ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Club career

Bansen came to Borussia Dortmund in 2010 as a twelve-year-old after playing at TuS Voßwinkel in his home country . There he went through various youth teams. In the 2016/17 season he was German A-Junior Champion with Borussia Dortmund. After playing four games for the second team in the fourth-class regional league in 2017 , he moved to the first team of the Belgian first division club SV Zulte Waregem in January 2018 . There he played his first competitive game on April 2, 2019, when he guarded the goal in the 3: 3 draw against Cercle Bruges as part of the Europa League play-off games of the Belgian championship .

National team career

Bansen was the goalkeeper of the U19 national team at the U19 European Championship in Georgia in 2017 , but they were eliminated in the preliminary round. In October he played a game for the U20 team .
