Eileen Hoffmann
Eileen Hoffmann (born June 25, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German hockey player .
Eileen Hoffmann started at Berlin HC , with whom she won eight German Youth Championships from 1998. In 2005 she became German champion with the women's team. Then she moved to Rot-Weiss Köln . In 2007 the striker became German champion with Cologne and in 2008 runner-up. With the move to UHC Hamburg another series of successes began. In the 2009/2010 season, the UHC women reached the finals in hall, field and in the first ECCC (European Club Champions Cup) and were each runner-up. In the third final at the end of the 2010/2011 season in three years, the UHC became German champions for the second time in three years with a 4-1 win in the final against Rotweiß Köln . In the 2011/2012 season she reached the Final Four of the ECCC for the second time with the UHC and came third there. As a league winner qualified again for the ECCC 2013 , the club finished the season as runner-up. After two more runner-up titles in 2013 and 2014, he succeeded in winning the championship title again in 2015 at the Final Four in Hamburg with a 4-1 win against Münchner SC ; The DM title was also won in Mannheim in 2016 by winning the penalty shootout against Rotweiß Köln after 2-2 in regular time. In 2015 she won the Indoor European Cup in Siauliai with the women of Uhlenhorster HC after 8-0 in the final against Campo de Madrid. In 2016 she took 3rd place with Uhlenhorster HC at the European Cup EHCCC and won the German championship again in 2017.
Eileen Hoffmann was used in 85 age group internationals from 1999 to 2005 and scored 57 goals. Among other things, she was vice European champion with the U16, with the U18 she won the European championship in 2001 and in 2005 she became vice world champion with the U21. Eileen Hoffmann made her debut in the German national hockey team in 2002, and in 2004 she finished second in the FIH Champions Trophy in Argentina . In 2007 she won the European Championships in Manchester with the German team. In her fourth Champions Trophy participation in 2008 she finished second after 5th place in 2005 and 3rd place in 2007. At the world championship in Rosario / Argentina in 2010 fourth place was achieved again, after which one of the most recent successes of the women's national hockey team followed with winning the European championship in 2013. At the 2008 Olympics , she finished fourth. In 2016 she was nominated for her 2nd Olympic Games in Rio , which she unfortunately missed due to a cruciate ligament injury. From this injury break she returned even stronger and won the subsequent German championship in 2017 with UHC Hamburg and was named the best player in the final round.
Eileen Hoffmann has completed 233 international matches and scored 70 international goals.
Professionally, Eileen Hoffmann has already completed many academic stations despite her competitive sports career. After studying business administration, she completed an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade and a trainee at Audi AG. In 2016 she received a scholarship from the SPOAC by WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and successfully completed the MBA General Management for Leadership.
