Eilpe / Dahl

Eilpe / Dahl is the southernmost of the five boroughs of the independent city Hagen in the southern Ruhr area on the border of Sauerland .

The city district has an area of ​​51.1 km² with a population of 16,335 people (as of March 2012), which corresponds to a population density of around 325 inhabitants per km².

It consists of the two districts Eilpe and Dahl as well as the associated and surrounding villages such as (only mentioned by way of example) Selbecke , Priorei , Rummenohl , Rüggebein or Ambrock .

On the eastern edge runs the federal motorway 45 , through the valley of the Volme the B 54 and the Volmetalbahn towards Bruges / Lüdenscheid with still existing train stations in Eilpe, Dahl and Rummenohl.
