A man walks through the wall - the musical is based on the film of the same name with Heinz Rühmann from 1959, which in turn is based on the novella Le Passe Muraille from 1943 by Marcel Aymé .
The music comes from the composer Michel Legrand , who, as a three-time Oscar winner, wrote the music for the Barbra Streisand film Yentl in 1983 . In 1997 he worked with the writer Didier van Cauwelaert on the tragic comedy as a chanson musical for the stage (five Tony Award nominations for the 2003 Broadway version Amour ( love )).
The German-language premiere took place in cooperation with the Folkwang University of the Arts in the theater in the town hall in Essen from April 16 to May 13, 2012; a corresponding tour through the cities of Lingen, Meppen, Bocholt, Lennestadt, Minden, Lünen, Viersen, Hanau, Espelkamp, Pirmasens, Olpe, Neumünster, Wolfsburg, Gifhorn, Waldkraiburg, Amberg, Visp (Switzerland), Singen, Augsburg, Dillingen / Saar , Remscheid, Neu-Isenburg, Gummersbach, Marnach (Luxembourg) and Schweinfurt took place between January 7th and February 11th, 2014.

Dutilleul uses pranks to ensure that his unloved boss is brought to the brink of a nervous breakdown, but in truth Dutilleul, who causes a stir at night, uses his gift to help his fellow men.
