One of the Rastas
Eino Rastas (born July 17, 1894 in Valkeala , † January 7, 1965 in Kuusankoski ) was a Finnish long-distance runner .
In the cross-country run at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp, he came in 18th place and thus not in the ranking for the victorious Finnish team.
Four years later he was eleventh over 5000 meters at the Olympic Games in Paris . In the cross-country competition he did not reach the finish, but like the other members of the victorious Finnish team, he was awarded the gold medal.
In 1928 he was nominated after a second place in the national test race for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Amsterdam , in which he ran in 14th place.
In 1922 he became Finnish champion over 5000 meters, in 1917 and 1922 over 10,000 meters .
