Murder after midnight is a German TV movie of Walter Weber from the year 2007 . It is the eighth film in the ZDF crime film series, Einsatz in Hamburg .

action

Commissioner Jenny Berlin is investigating the murder of the young gay crown prince singer Jamie, who was found dead in his hotel suite. Berlin investigates around the young singer who hid his sexual orientation from the public. Coming out would have been uncomfortable for Jamie's manager Frantzen ; the reporter Hellfritz wanted to publish a story about what would have damaged the singer's image. During her interviews, Berlin also learns of a dispute between the dead man and the farmer Franz Meerwald.

Filming lasted from March 9, 2006 to April 10, 2006. It was filmed in Hamburg, among other places, on Admiralty Street and in the vicinity. The episode premiered on May 19, 2007 at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF.

criticism

The television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the best possible rating, a thumbs up. She stated: "Clever: killer puzzle in the DSDS ambience".
