The hermitage of Brother Albert ( Polish Pustelnia Brata Alberta ) in 1901 in Zakopane style of Stanislaw Witkiewicz designed and near the Alm Kalatówki on mountain Bystra in the Western Tatras in the wilderness of the Tatra built. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the hermit monastery of the Albertine women . In contrast to other of his buildings, Witkiewicz dispensed with rich ornamentation in order to depict the simple life of Holy Brother Albert . Władysław Zamoyski donated the reason . 1997 visited Pope John Paul II. The hermitage. John Paul II proclaimed Brother Albert blessed and holy. The Hermitage is located in the town of Zakopane in Bystrej Valley in the area of the Tatra National Park in the West Tatra . The Kalatówki Alm is located near the sanctuary . The hermitage is about 1,200 meters above sea level and is surrounded by dense forest.
