The hermit monastery Albertinerinnen ( Polish Klasztor Albertynek na Kalatówkach ) that the regulated Third Order of Franciscans belong and the associated wooden church was from 1892 to 1902 in Zakopane style of Stanislaw Witkiewicz designed and near the Alm Kalatówki on mountain Bystra in the Western Tatras built. Stefan Żeromski's novel The Conversion of Judas is set in the monastery. In 1997 Pope John Paul II visited the monastery, where he beatified one of the sisters, Bernardyna Maria Jabłońska . An obelisk at a spring in the area of ​​the monastery reminds of his stay. Since 2001 the church and the monastery are listed. The monastery is inhabited by several nuns who are active in caring for the poor and who retire here for silent prayer and meditation in nature.
