Icy Cold Seduction is an American crime film directed by Eric Mandelbaum from 2009. Its plot is based on a true case and Karl Harter's book Winter of Frozen Dreams .

Jerry Davies, from an extremely humble background, leads the police to a corpse buried in the snow. His friend Barbara Hoffman, a former prostitute, had asked him to help clean up the body. She allegedly has no idea how the deceased got into her apartment. They want to blame her for a murder because she recently stopped working with her pimp , she speculates. Remorse drove Jerry to the police.
From now on, flashbacks tell how Barbara appears to have a relationship with her suitor Harry Berge. As a dominatrix, she enjoys humiliating the unattractive Harry and wrapping it around her finger. He introduces her to his colleagues as his fiancée and changes his will in her favor before the wedding. At the same time, Barbara has a love affair with Gerald Davies, the aforementioned Jerry, whom she believes to have left the inglorious life of a prostitute behind.
