Ejgayehu Taye (born February 10, 2000 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner .

Athletic career

Ejegayehu Taye gained her first international experience in 2018 at the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where she won the silver medal in the 5000 meter run behind Kenyan Beatrice Chebet in 15: 30.87 minutes . The following year she finished fifth at the Africa Games in Rabat in 15: 39.94 minutes.
