Ekkehart Reinelt (born November 17, 1943 in Belgrade , Serbia ) is a German lawyer .

Life

Reinelt was born as the son of the diplomat Alfred Reinelt and his wife Sabine Reinelt. He attended the elementary school in Echterdingen near Stuttgart , then the German School Belgrade , the German School in Tokyo and passed the Abitur at the humanistic grammar school of the Birklehof School in Hinterzarten in 1963.

He studied in Marburg and passed the first state examination in law at the State Judicial Examination Office of Hesse in 1967. From 1968 to mid-1971 he was a research assistant at the chair for civil law and comparative law at the University of Regensburg . In 1969 he received his doctorate on a comparative law topic from tort law . In 1971 he passed the second state examination in law before the State Judicial Examination Office in Bavaria.

From 1971 to June 30, 2007 he worked as an independent lawyer in Munich. He was a co-founder of the law firm Stock, Strohm, Reinelt, and later of the law firm Reinelt & Kiefer. From 1989 to 2007 he was an examiner at the Bavarian State Judicial Examination Office for the Second State Examination in Law. In 1997 he founded the Permanent Munich Building Arbitration Court. In 1999 he was given a teaching position at the University of Regensburg , which made him an honorary professor in 2008 . Since 2006 he has been a specialist lawyer for building and architectural law and an arbitrator for the German Society for Building Law.

He is co-editor of the ZAP magazine, former member of the examination committee for the second state examination in law at the Bavarian State Judicial Examination Office and since April 2007 attorney at the Federal Court of Justice .

He is the founder of the Förderverein Kuratorium JS Bach Foundation eV, Munich, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the International JS Bach Foundation, Zurich.
