The El Cajon Mountain also El Capitan ( 1112 m ) is one of the highest mountains in San Diego County , California .

The El Cajon Mountain forms together with the secondary peaks El Capitan , Silverdome , Rock Mountain an approximately 14 km long mountain range northeast of El Cajon in San Diego County . The valley of the San Diego River joins in the south and the El Capitan Reservoir in the east .
The highest point is technically easy, but only a long day tour without a water supply. The El Cajon Mountain forms the El Cajon Mountain Wall in the southeast , which is used as a climbing area.
