In this country where Sylvia works for Trotsky, who was exiled by the Soviet regime, his instructions are clear. Jacques (Ramón), who now works for a front company, justifies his trip by seeking refuge from World War II . The beautiful Sylvia becomes Trotsky's personal secretary.
