Location of Elbisheimerhof in Rhineland-Palatinate |
The Elbisheimerhof is a hamlet that belongs to the municipality of Marnheim in the Donnersberg district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
location
The Elbisheimerhof is located in the southern municipal area on the boundary with Göllheim . Most of it is surrounded by fields, with a quarry to the south .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1202 when Arnold von Einselthum and his wife Maginheide donated their estate to the monastery of Hane near Bolanden , on the occasion of the arrival of their daughters there. The convent also bought other goods and was therefore the main owner of the settlement. King Friedrich II confirmed these possessions in a document in 1214 under the name "Hof zu Eigelmundesheim". Later names were also "Emutesheim" and "Eymoldisheim". In the 17th and 18th centuries the name changed to Albisheimerhof.
Infrastructure
The Elbisheimerhof is connected to Göllheim and Marnheim via state road 449. It also has a bus stop.
Elbisheimerhof is economically fully connected to the neighboring town of Göllheim: the town uses the Göllheim telephone code, the children attend Göllheim kindergartens and schools and the town is also ecclesiastically attached to Göllheim. In contrast, the Elbisheimerhof has its own (very small) cemetery.
