Elbweindörfer is the collective name for several wine-growing villages on the Saxon Wine Route north-west of Meißen on the Elbe . Together they market themselves as " Saxony's Riviera " and are located in the Saxon Elbland .

The Elbe wine villages include Hirschstein , Winkwitz , the Diera-Zehrener districts of Zadel , Golk , Löbsal , Zehren and Niederlommatzsch as well as the Nünchritz districts of Diesbar and Seusslitz (also Diesbar-Seusslitz ).

Sights are the Hirschstein Castle , the St. Andrew's Church in Zadel, the Diesbar-Seusslitz Baroque Church built by George Bähr and the Seusslitz Baroque Castle .

The Saxon Wine Trail begins in Diesbar . There is evidence that wine has been grown in Zadel since 1218.
